Toyota Innova Crysta 2020-2022 latest updates
Latest Update: The diesel variants of the Toyota Innova Crysta will be available again shortly, but only in the entry-level trim levels.
Price: The Innova Crysta’s prices ranged between Rs 18.09 lakh and Rs 26.77 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) before it was removed from the marque’s Indian website.
Variants: Toyota’s MPV was offered in five broad trims: G, G+, GX, VX and ZX.
Seating Capacity: It was available in both seven- and eight-seater configurations.
Boot Space: It came with a boot capacity of 300 litres.
Engine and Transmission: Before being removed from the website, the Innova Crysta came with a 2.7-litre petrol engine (making 166PS and 245Nm). The diesel models that were discontinued were powered by a 2.4-litre engine (150PS and 360Nm). Both units were paired with either a five-speed manual or a torque converter automatic transmission.
Features: Its list of features included an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, six speakers, a powered driver seat, ambient lighting and cruise control.
Safety: passenger safety was ensured by ABS with EBD, vehicle stability control (VSC), tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill-start assist, ISOFIX anchorages and front and rear parking sensors.
Rivals: The Innova Crysta was a premium alternative to the likes of the Mahindra Marazzo and the Kia Carens. It was also an affordable option to the Kia Carnival, which sits a segment above.
