Tata Tiago NRG latest updates
Latest Update: The Tiago NRG has been updated with its MY2025 changes. This update has introduced new features like a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen, an updated driver's display, an HD rearview camera and more. With the update, the XT NRG variant has been discontinued while the XZ NRG variant has seen a price hike of Rs 20,000.
Price: The Tata Tiago NRG with a manual gearbox option is priced at Rs 7.20 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). Price of the automatic variant is expected to be revealed soon.
Variants: The sportier-looking Tiago is available in a single XZ variant with both petrol and CNG options.
Engine and Transmission: It gets its power from the same 1.2-litre petrol engine (86 PS/113 Nm) as the standard Tiago. The petrol unit is mated to either a standard 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT. In CNG mode, it makes 73 PS and 95 Nm and is offered with 5-speed manual transmission only.

Features: The Tiago NRG is equipped with a height-adjustable driver seat, digitised instrument cluster, a 10.25-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system, keyless entry and push-button start/stop. It also gets an 8-speaker sound system (including four tweeters) and a cooled glovebox.
Safety: Passenger safety is ensured by dual front airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), corner stability control, rear parking sensors and an HD reversing camera.
Rivals: The sportier-looking Tata Tiago has no direct rivals in India yet.

My life has been much enhanced by the Tata Tiago NRG I bought from the Tata dealership in Hyderabad. City and occasional off-road trips would be ideal for the comfortable seats and tough build of the Tiago NRG. Its sporty designs really appeal. Fantastic are the sophisticated elements including touchscreen infotainment system, steering-mounted controls, and more ground clearance. One has tremendous trust in the safety aspects, which include ABS with EBD and double airbags. Still, I believe the Tiago NRG may have somewhat better mileage.
