Volkswagen Jetta is the premium sedan model available in the Indian automobile market. It has now received cosmetic updates, while its technical specifications remain to be unchanged. The manufacturer has refreshed the entire model series and retained all the variants like its predecessor. Among those, Volkswagen Jetta 2.0L TDI Trendline is the base trim, which is powered by the same 1968cc diesel engine under the hood. This power plant produces a power of 138.1bhp along with a maximum torque of 320Nm. There are quite a few changes made to its exteriors, especially in terms of front profile. The company has revamped the design of radiator grille, bumpers and tailgate to give it a refreshing new look. At the same time, its interiors too received some modification in the form of an updated instrument cluster with chrome accents, flat-bottomed steering wheel and piano black inserts. Apart from these, this base trim also gets cruise control system, which eventually provides an effortless driving experience. Exteriors:

The external appearance of this Volkswagen Jetta 2.0L TDI Trendline looks simply stunning owing to its refined cosmetics. Its rear facade is now fitted with a slightly modified taillight cluster that surrounds a tweaked boot lid. It is further decorated with chrome accents along with company's badge just above the license plate console. The rear bumper gets an expressive new design and is now fitted with a pair of reflectors for additional safety. Coming to the side facet, its fenders and door panels have the same design like its predecessor, but the improved build quality makes it look stunning. In terms of technical specification, the company has not made any changes and this variant comes with the same 2.0-litre diesel engine under the bonnet.
