Chevrolet Enjoy 2013-2015 TCDi LTZ 7 Seater

Though MPVs do not directly compete with an SUV in performance and power, they sure give a heads on for the interior comfort and spacing. The Chevrolet Enjoy comes with a seven seater as well as an eight seater option. The vehicle is offered in eight variants four of them in petrol and other four in diesel. The vehicle is a relief to the Indian market as the diesel versions are offered with mileage as high as 18 Kmpl, while the interiors are kept extremely comfortable. Another advantage for the Chevrolet Enjoy MPV is its pricing, which is very economical and easy on the pocket. The Chevrolet Enjoy TCDi LTZ 7 Seater is the top end variant among the entire range and it costs a decent Rs. 7.99 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). The vehicle runs on diesel and hence is extremely fuel efficient and economical considering the additional perks in the interior offered with the vehicle.

Exteriors:

The Chevrolet Enjoy TCDi LTZ 7 Seater is undoubtedly an impressive vehicle by all means, not just because it has the best of everything the Chevrolet Enjoy range has to offer but also because of its decent pricing. The vehicle has the same exteriors as the other variants however the exteriors of the entire range itself is a promising and appealing one. The front fascia of this MPV comes with a well structured front grill placed between the beautifully rendered headlamp cluster. The front grill comes with a very futuristic design, where the chrome outline actually helps the vehicle in offering an authoritative appeal . The front grille also houses the Chevrolet logo, which symmetrically lies in the middle of the air intake valves placed under it on the front bumper. The vehicle comes with impressive aerodynamic renderings not just on the bonnet but also on the side framework of the vehicle. The fog lamps are also provided in the front on either sides of the air intake grill, which has a chrome border. The vehicle comes with interesting exterior design statement with the entire side windows offering a black outline and the ORVMs coming with black detailing. The vehicle, with its vibrant set of colors certainly seems visually appealing. To stay true to the MPV tag line, the roof of this MPV comes with friction increasing self design, so that the pattern can house external luggage without slipping it away. The rear design of the vehicle is also well designed and it houses the tail lamps positioned in sync with the number plate.

Interiors:

Chevrolet Enjoy TCDi LTZ 7 Seater hits all the right chords in terms of interiors. They are luxurious, elegant, comfortable and highly thoughtful. The vehicle offers a beige color detailing of the seats , door pads inside while the floor is colored in Grey offering an ambient appeal to the vehicle. The entire design however is taken to a whole new level with the dark Grey colored, extremely futuristic dash which focuses on maintaining a visual statement of authority and contemporary design for the interiors. The seven seater is distributed by offering two front row seats, two mid row seats and the rear seat bench which can comfortably house three passengers. The front storage compartment is positioned very artistically, which completely creates an uncanny illusion of design without any additional slack. As a whole, the steering wheel which can be tilted, the interior comfort and color ambiance as a whole make the interior a compelling aspect of the Chevrolet Enjoy TCDi LTZ 7 Seater.

Engine and Performance:

Being a top end vehicle, though the interiors have been modified, its engine remains the same. It comes with a 1.3-litre SMARTECH, DOHC based diesel engine. The 1248cc engine is powerful enough to generate a maximum output of 76.4bhp at 4000rpm and a torque of 188Nm at 1750rpm.

Braking and Handling:

The Chevrolet Enjoy TCDi LTZ 7 Seater is a top end model and hence comes with all the possible features required to make the journey perfect. The vehicle comes with anti lock braking system and front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. The vehicles handling is also improved suspension system . Since the vehicle is a rear wheel drive the handling is said to be pretty good.

Comfort Features:

This is the top end variant and hence it is the most comfortable vehicle in this model lineup. The interiors offer a really comfortable seating with ample leg room and head room. The thigh support is also satisfactory in the front and mid row seats while the rear row offers a rather static seating system but it too does not necessarily fail. The variant comes with an integrated audio system with MP3 player support and a provision to have auxiliary input as well. The sound system is outstanding with two speakers placed in the front and two positioned in the rear offering a well distributed surround sound.

Safety Features:

The car already comes with a safe cage body structure which relatively makes it less vulnerable to collision impacts. Along with that side impact beam is placed and the anti lock braking system, air bags, electric brake distribution completely offer a decent safety package for the vehicle.

Pros: Impressive features, decent design, promising mileage.

Cons: The mid and rear passengers could have been offered air bags too.
