Paris Motor Show is all ready to set the auto market ablaze with so many new and exclusive vehicles making their debut during 29th Sept – 14th Oct. Another one on the list is the new Mercedes-Benz B-Class Electric Drive Concept. This will be mounted with a 100-kW electric motor and lithium-ion battery.
The exteriors of the car will be same as the regular B-class. The 100kW motor will run for approximately 124 miles, which is 199.5kms. In Europe there will be optional 230 and 400 V charging options and the speculations are that the battery packs will be provided by Telsa. The lithium-ion battery will be placed in the floor in front of the rear axle. With this there will be no extra space occupied and the B-Class electric will offer the same room as the regular B-Class.
This electric version is also being accompanied by the SLS AMG Coupe Electric Drive and Smart Brabus Electric Drive cars.
