Verdict
The Tiago is a feature loaded good looking mid sized hatchback. The only things that hold it back are a lack of refinement in both the diesel and petrol three cylinder engines. If you are looking for a stylish and featured loaded city runabout then it’s worth a good hard look.

Latest Update: The facelifted Tiago has scored four stars in the Global NCAP crash tests.
Tata Tiago Price and Variant: Tata has priced the refreshed Tiago between Rs 4.6 lakh and Rs 6.6 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It comes in seven variants: XE, XT, XZ, XZA, XZ+, XZ+ DT, and XZA+.
Tata Tiago Engine: It now comes only with the BS6-compliant 1.2-litre petrol engine that puts out 86PS of power and 113Nm of torque. Transmission options remain the same - a 5-speed manual or AMT.
Tata Tiago Features: Standard safety features on offer include dual front airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, and corner stability control. Moreover, it also offers front fog lamps, up to 15-inch alloy wheels, rear defogger with wiper, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an 8-speaker sound system developed by Harman. Automatic climate control, all-four power windows, cooled glovebox, and auto foldable and electrically adjustable ORVMs are also offered in the Tiago. The AMT variant gets some additional features too, including a creep function and ‘Sport’ mode.
Tata Tiago Rivals: The Tata Tiago takes on the likes of the Hyundai Santro, Maruti Suzuki Celerio and the WagonR.
