Land Rover Range Rover Evoque 2016-2020 latest updates
Latest Update: Land Rover has revealed the second-gen Evoque. The new SUV is based on a new platform and is longer, wider and taller than its predecessor. It also features a new design that looks inspired by the Velar. We have already compared the second-gen Evoque with its predecessor, on paper. Click here to know how the two generations differ.
The Range Rover Evoque is offered in three variants: SE, HSE and HSE Dynamic, and is priced between Rs 50.45 lakh and Rs 59.99 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). Land Rover also offers an additional Landmark edition, which was launched in January 2018 at price of Rs 50.20 lakh.
The Evoque is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 180PS of power and 430Nm of torque. Power is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed automatic transmission. When compared to its rivals, the Evoque seems adequately powered; however, it is not the most powerful SUV in its class.
The list of features offered on the Evoque include a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, front and rear parking aid, 360-degree camera and an 825W, 10-speaker, Meridian sound system, among others.
For safety, the Evoque gets 7 airbags, ABS, EBD, dynamic stability control, traction control, roll stability control, all-terrain progress control, hill descent control and trailer stability assist.
The Evoque rivals the likes of the Jaguar F-Pace, Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Audi Q5, Volvo XC60 and the Lexus NX 300h.
