Volkswagen Ameo Colours

Volkswagen Ameo is the best car that I have seen, it gives you a really great average and pickup. It is a full package that comes with comfort, features, colors and after-sale service.

Exterior build quality, Colors are excellent. Looks are very sturdy and safe. Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Apart from rear seat space the interior is very well done and gives you premium feeling. Handy pockets everywhere and a large glove box to keep the majority of the things. Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox, I am actually pleasantly surprised by the mileage. I have only driven few fifteen thousand KM but it's constantly clocking above 20KM on highways and around 16-17 in the city. Diesel AT-DSG automatic is fantastic and cruise control is a sheer pleasure on highways. Ride quality & handling, ground clearance is a bit low so one needs to be more careful over bumps and potholes, else superb ride quality and handling. Final Words, Desiel Automatic is the car to go for. DSG nails it along with power and fuel efficiency and I think it's best in the class. Also, cruise control in this segment is just fantastic when driving on highways and long journey. Areas of improvement 1. Rear Seat Space (Maybe do away with a little bit of boot space and increase cabin inside) 2. Ground Clearance considering Indian road conditions.

Volkswagen Ameo is an amazing car, it is available in fantastic colors. This one is best as compared to other cars for long drives. 

I was looking for a basic compact sedan. Compared Volkswagen Ameo 1.2 MPI Trendline (Base Model) with Base Models of Hyundai Xcent, Swift Dzire, Ford Aspire & Tata Zest. Omitted Base Model of Hyundai Xcent because in comparison to Volkswagen Ameo 1.2 MPI Trendline (Base Model):  1. No Passenger side airbag and only one driver side airbag was available and that too optional (at an additional cost) and it would have been a Dealer fitment and not a Factory fitment  2. ABS too was optional (at an additional cost) and it would have been a Dealer fitment and not a Factory fitment  3. OVRM's & Door Handles were not body colored  4. Wheel caps had to be purchased at an additional cost  5. No central locking  6. 13'' Tyres  7. No premium feel as most of Hyundai Xcent's.  I saw were in TAXI segment Omitted Base Model of Swift Dzire because in comparison to Volkswagen Ameo 1.2 MPI Trendline (Base Model):  1. Driver and front passenger side airbags were available only as an optional package (at an additional cost) and it would have been a Dealer fitment and not a Factory fitment  2. Wheel caps had to be purchased at an additional cost  Omitted Base Model of Tata Zest because in comparison to Volkswagen Ameo 1.2 MPI Trendline (Base Model):  1. Driver and front passenger side airbags were not available (not even an optional package)  2. ABS not available (not even an optional package)  3. OVRM's & Door Handles were not body colored  4. Wheel caps had to be purchased at an additional cost  5. No central locking  6. 13'' Tyres  The TAXI image associated with entry level TATA cars Purchased Volkswagen Ameo 1.2 MPI Trendline (Base Model) because:  1. Driver and front passenger side airbags were available as a Factory fitment without any additional cost  2. ABS too was available as a Factory fitment without any additional cost  3. OVRM's & Door Handles were body colored  4. OVRM's had TURN INDICATORS  5. Wheel caps were available without any additional cost 6. Central locking was available  7. Plastic interior build Quality was very good  8. Premium feel as most of Volkswagen cars are very rarely seen in TAXI segment  9. Paint Quality  10. 14'' Tyres  11. Overall Build Quality with undercover protection Comfortably and intentionally overlooked the less powerful image associated with the Petrol Model because i rarely exceed 80Kmph speed on the so well known less safe typical Indian roads. Speed Kills. Neither i expect a compact sedan to have RX100 like pick ups. Though Volkswagen Ameo Petrol showed me it is capable of doing it. At least on typical Indian Roads Boot space for all cars was above 300 liters did not expect much.

Volkswagen Ameo introduced with good space & the front shape is too good. Travelling with Luxury with the lowest price. Proud to drive Volkswagen Brand. I Love this brand. Only drawback is they have not introduced black color if they have introduced black colour that should be elegant.
