I purchased the Empowered LR+ for 20.95 Lakhs (On the Road). Initially, I was confused between choosing the Seltos and Grand Vitara, but ultimately, I made the significant decision to switch to an electric vehicle (EV) due to my office commute distance and rising petrol costs. Speaking of the Nexon EV: I did encounter some minor issues in the beginning, such as the charging gate Lid not opening, the Smart key being out of range, and difficulties with the arcade EV login. Fortunately, these problems were gradually resolved. Apart from those minor hiccups, my experience with the Nexon EV has been exceptional. It delivers an exhilarating torque rush, and I consistently achieve a range of approximately 310 kilometers. To maintain my battery's health, I've been intentionally using slow charging. The vehicle's features, including the 360-degree camera and voice commands, function flawlessly. For those who may be skeptical about driving an EV, let me emphasize that it demands discipline, planning, and an efficient driving approach. I faced some initial challenges, but I've since adapted to the EV lifestyle and have been able to achieve an impressive range. Additionally, I avoid "opportunity" charging to ensure a perfect battery cycle. I hope my review is helpful, and all I can say is: trust Tata and opt for the new Nexon EV.
