Tata Motors with the introduction of Harrier has played a perfect shot. The newcomer from Tata is one of the most impeccable SUVs with exceptional features and powerful engines. Tata Harrier has been the buzz of the town since its introduction as the concept. Amidst the growing excitement, I and my family has already decided to buy the new Harrier as soon as it gets officially launched. This is the first time that Tata has brought the global product which is based on a Land Rover derived platform. The vehicle was shown as a H5X concept at the Auto Expo in February 2019 and in just the time span of less than a year company has launched its SUV. It's a pure pleasure to drive the Harrier as it offers amazing riding capabilities, strong road presence and above all, it gets amazing safety aspects. Tata Harrier surely makes the heads turn with its amazing aura and features. The one word that describes the car, it is striking. From outside, Tata Harrier looks quite large in terms of dimensions. At the front, it looks attractive with wide radiator grille with LED daytime running lamps at the sides. Projector headlamps are place below it. From side angles, Tata Harrier looks appealing due to its wheel arches and bold cladding. The rear part goes well with overall design and gets sharp creases on the tailgate and on the tail lamps. Seeing the interiors, it's the most spacious SUV I have ever taken the ride on. The feel is quite amazing, the quality of the material and the fit and finish of the cabin makes it more premium. The dashboard seems to be adorned with oak wood palette and the soft touch upholstery feels plush. Tata Harrier gets 8.8-inch touchscreen unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The car also gets 7.0-inch MID display and 9-speaker JBL sound system. On the safety front, Tata Harrier includes features such as airbags, ABS with EBD, engine immobilizer, child safety lock, power door lock, turn indicators on ORVM, rain sensing wipers, hill assist, traction control, electronic stability program and central locking. In the power department, Tata Harrier gets 2.0-liters diesel engine that churns the power output of 138bhp and makes maximum torque of 350Nm. The engine comes mated to 6-speed manual gearbox. It also gets drive modes like City, Sport and Eco while it also gets Terrain response system for rough, normal and wet conditions. Overall, Tata Harrier is the perfect family SUV with no faults. It's a true value for money deal.
