Sharp DCT Review
Well, my review is for DCT sharp petrol variant which I bought a week back. I am writing this review after doing both cities as well as highway driving. Positives: - Rich interiors with a lot of soft-touch material and good seats. Feature loaded. You won't feel outdated with tech for at least the next 2-3 years. - Acres of space inside the car. Front row, second row, and boot. You would never be wanting for more space. - Very confident braking. You would never feel out of control. - Massive sunroof makes the cabin very airy. - With DCT, tiredness for the long trip was negligible. This is a big plus for me. - Even with the big size the maneuverability of the car is really good, making it very easy to drive in cities. - Cabin insulation is one or two segments above. Negatives: - Turbo lag is very noticeable and even irritating at 1500-1800 RPM range. After 2000 RPM it picks up. - DCT transmission surprisingly gets confused too often. Especially in the cases when you have decelerated quickly, it takes time to downshift. There is room for a lot of improvement here. - Mileage is much below the competition. I am getting 4.5-5 kmpl in the city and around 11 kmpl on the highway. - Touch screen while being functional is super slow to operate. Almost impossible to operate while you are driving. So mostly your co-passenger has to help you. - While it is LED all over, the headlamp illumination should have been better.

- Best FeaturesTata Harrier is Far Better than MG Hector in the Same Segment. I do not know why People prefer foreign Cars Over Indian Cars. Overall, Car is good but a waste of money. You Can Consider Nexon, Harrier, XUV 300 As a 5 Seater. The look is dull and not Suitable for sem urban areas. Safety Features are not According to Price.Read MoreWas this review helpful?YesNo
