Polo 2009-2014 Diesel Comfortline 1.2L Review
Volkswagen Polo is one of the popular hatchback in the market with its contemporary design and ride quality. It comes in three trim levels with both petrol and diesel engine options. Among them, Volkswagen Polo Diesel Comfortline 1.2L is the mid range trim. It is powered by a 1.2-litre, in-line diesel mill, which churns out 73.9bhp along with 180Nm. It is skillfully coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission gear box. With the help of a common rail direct injection fuel supply system, this car returns an efficient mileage of 19.03 Kmpl in the city and 22.07 Kmpl on the highways. The exteriors have a trendy body design with exciting features like halogen highlights, body colored bumper, chrome strip on the front grille and body colored ORVMs. On the other hand, the interiors are designed with high quality scratch resistant dashboard, 60:40 split folding rear seat backrest along with luggage compartment cover, day and night interior rear view mirror and an air conditioning system. Braking and Handling:
The suspension mechanism of this Volkswagen Polo Diesel Comfortline 1.2L trim is quite efficient. The front axle is assembled with a McPherson strut with stabilizer bar. Whereas the rear axle is equipped with a semi independent trailing arm type of mechanism. On the other hand, it is blessed with a very responsive electronic power steering system, which is speed sensitive and makes handling convenient. It is also tilt adjustable and supports a minimum turning radius of 4.97 meters. The braking mechanism of this trim is also very advanced and is further augmented by ABS along with emergency brake assist . The front and rear wheels are fitted with ventilated disc and drum brakes respectively.

It has an advanced 2-DIN RCD 220 music system, which is equipped with input functions like USB interface, Aux-in port, SD card slot and four speakers. Apart from these, it also has a multi-functional display, opening and closing windows with key remote, rear windshield with wash and wipe function.
Safety Features:
This Volkswagen Polo Diesel Comfortline 1.2L variant is equipped with some crucial safety aspects, which includes front underbody guard, front and rear adjustable head rests, an advanced electronic engine immobilizer with floating code, warning triangle with holder in trunk cover and first aid kid.
