Skoda, the Czech Republican automaker has introduced the premium saloon Skoda Octavia in the Indian automobile market with an aggressive price tag. The company rolled out this premium saloon in three trim levels, wherein the Skoda Octavia Active 2.0 TDI MT trim comes as the base level trim in its model lineup. This base level trim is blessed with a turbocharged, in-line DOHC based 2.0-litre diesel power plant that comes incorporated with four cylinders and 16 valves. The engine comes with an ability to produce great power and torque, while giving away a healthy fuel efficiency as well. It represents the advancements in production and design opted by the Czech Republican automaker for the Indian market. The next generation sedan gets a sophisticated design, features a new style grille and new logo, which will also features to upcoming Skoda models.
