Japanese auto major Nissan launched its hatchback model Nissan Micra Diesel XV in India with promotion by not other than Mr. Ranbir Kapoor, Bollywood actor as brand ambassador. Nissan Micra is known as Nissan March in the Japanese auto market but renamed Nissan Micra in India. The company has installed a diesel version of the Nissan Micra by engine type, K9K Diesel Engine on 'V' with configuration of 1.5-litre, 1461cc, 8 Valve, 4 Cylinder, SOHC, In-Line 16 Valves Diesel Engine which can produce maximum power of 63bhp@4000rpm with generation of maximum torque of 160Nm@2000rpm with five speed manual transmission.
