Mercedes-Benz GLA Perfect Example of a Crossover

If there was a rule book of an urban SUV, the Mercedes Benz GLA would be the perfect specimen. A pure breed SUV, the car has design elements of a hatchback, ruggedness of an SUV and luxury of a sedan. It's aggressive styling with a new grille, full LED headlights, and muscular creases makes it stand out of the other crossovers in its class. Mercedes-Benz has car-like dynamics with splendid braking mechanism and ground clearance of 183mm which is excellent for rough terrains. Inside, the car is a proper Mercedes with top notch quality of material used for the cabin. The aluminum inserts that runs across the dashboard compliments the beige and black theme. The infotainment system has been finally updated with the 8-inch touchscreen unit for all the entertainment stuff plus the connectivity options for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay as well. Now comes the SUV factor. The car houses a potent 170PS engine which is paired with a 7-speed 7G-DCT automatic transmission gearbox. The engine offers excellent drivability and performance. With 5-star safety rating, Mercedes Benz GLA Class offers 7 airbags, ABS, ESP, attention assist and a range of other safety features. All in all, it's a perfect SUV which has decent road manners and excellent dynamics.Read More

Mercedes Benz GLA-Best for Indian Customers

Mercedes is a great luxury segment in Automobile Industry. Best for Business or Executive class. Well, The Mercedes-Benz GLA-Class is a luxury compact crossover automobile unveiled by the German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz at the 2013 Frankfurt Auto Show. It was previously unveiled to the public at the Shanghai Auto Show in April 2013 as a concept car. The name GLA was devised in accordance with the revised Mercedes-Benz nomenclature for SUVs collection. This was formally announced in November 2014 to begin rollout in 2015. However, the GLA-Class name was already compliant with the naming structure since its debut. Under this scheme, SUVs use the base name "GL", followed by the model's placement in Mercedes-Benz hierarchy. The "G" is for gelndewagen (German for an off-road vehicle) and alludes the long-running G-Wagen. This is followed by the letter "L" that acts as a linkage with the letter "A"the GLA being the SUV equivalent to the A-Class. People generally need their vehicle at low price with more comfort. So GLA fulfills their all their needs. In 2015 The Concept GLA45 AMG concept car was unveiled at the 2013 Los Angeles Auto Show, as a high-performance version of the GLA-Class with an AMG 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin-scroll turbocharged petrol engine rated 360 PS (265 kW; 355 hp) and 450 Nm (332 lbfft), 4Matic all wheel drive, AMG Speedshift DCT 7-speed transmission with paddle shifters, and fitted with various AMG-badged accoutrements and an AMG sports exhaust system with an electronically controlled variable vane system to modulate the exhaust note. The 2016 Concept GLA45 AMG with an AMG 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin-scroll turbocharged petrol engine rated 280 kW; 381 hp and 475 Nm, 4Matic all-wheel drive, AMG Speedshift DCT 7-speed transmission with paddle shifters, and fitted with various AMG-badged accoutrements and an AMG sports exhaust system with an electronically controlled variable vane system to modulate the exhaust note. So, I preferably suggest GLA for Indian Customers who wants at very low price Luxury car with extra comfort and benefit.Read More

A car that combines class with performance

Stunning look, excellent pick-up, handles very well, delight to over twisty sections, high speed corners and undulated straights, although runs very smooth but loses smoothness at top end rev range, cabin feels spacious with sufficient headroom, knee-room and shoulder-room, forward vision is good from rear seat as it has set high in relation to front seat, brakes have great stopping power, AC cooling is excellent, but the small rear window compromise visibility.Read More
