Ertiga 2015-2022 LXI Option Review
Maruti Ertiga LXI Option is one of the base variants in this updated model series. The company has affirmed all facets of the car with reliable quality, giving the passenger a holistic and healthy drive experience. A more refreshed look is given by the re-designed front portion, with tweaks to the radiator grille and to the surrounding region. Beside this, there are minimal changes to the interiors and other areas. The vehicle is powered by the same K14B petrol engine, which allows for nominal performance as well as good fuel benefits. The car's speed capacity is insulated by strong braking discs and tubeless radials, which prevent loss of control. A well fortified suspension arrangement is also present for better drive stability. The cabin lays out ample space for seven adults, and tenders to their comfort needs with nominal features like handrests, a digital clock and foldable second row seats. Interiors:
The car's enormous cabin has the capacity to seat a small family and entitle them to a lavish drive experience. The wide seats are ergonomically designed, helping to relieve discomforts when seated. Fine clothing is stitched onto the seats, infusing luxury into the experience. For the benefit of utility, the second row is gifted with a 60:40 split arrangement with a slide function as well. Headrests are present for all of the rows, supporting the heads and necks of the passengers during the drive. The dashboard of the new version comes with a renewed design, and a dual tone finish adds to the look. The sporty steering wheel gives the driver a more thrilling feel. The company has conditioned the arena with many utility based factors that keep the drive free from hassle, such as passenger mirrors, storage arenas and door side armrests.
Engine and Performance:
The vehicle gets the same K14B petrol engine, which displaces 1373cc. Going into specifications, the plant yields a power of 92bhp at 6000rpm, and a torque of 130Nm at 4000rpm. A 5 speed manual transmission channels the engine's power, giving effective performance and flawless shifting.
Braking and Handling:
The company has matched the vehicle's performance with a well enforced braking and handling section. Ventilated discs seal the brakes of the front, while drum units are equipped onto the rear. For the suspension arrangement, a McPherson strut is rigged onto the front axle, while a Torsion beam secures the rear axle.
Comfort Features:
The company has designed its cabin space for optimal comfort and utility, ensuring the least disruption during the passenger's drive. The air conditioning system preserves the tranquility of the place, and good circulation is enabled by well situated air ducts. The meter cluster is integrated with a multi information display that redeems convenience for all occupants. A digital clock is present, along with a fuel consumption gauge and a distance to empty reading. There is a reminder for an open door, stressing safety in addition to comfort. A reminder also exists for headlamps on and key on, assisting the driver in his function.
Safety Features:
