Verito 1.5 D4 Review
Mahindra and Mahindra limited is back news with its Mahindra Verito in the market in all new avatars. Verito which had already won acclaims for fuel economy and stylish looks is back to woo Indian customers in a new refreshed way. Keeping up with the trend of makeovers India's leading SUV maker brought back Verito in the Indian automobile market with a bang. Verito is all newly designed to look sleeker leaving its boxy look behind. With all the more appeal to the practical mechanics its predecessor had, this one is definitely going to strike the right chords with Indian consumer base. The company after its split from Renault retained the product Logan and hence named it Verito. The revamped Verito has the basic technology of Logan. The prices are smartly placed and are definitely a thing to worry for its competitors. Verito in Latin language literally means truth and the word is absolutely perfect in describing the honest piece of machinery which holds world class engine and premium comfort to match it. Already a fan following to its brand name Mahindra and Mahindra Limited have done a fine job in revamping the good old Verito and the changes are seen in interiors as well as exteriors. The Mahindra Verito 1.5 D4 is a diesel variant of the fine catalogue. The car holds well on roads and has good mileage to go with. The car is targeted towards high end executive class customers who expect good styling with fuel efficiency and doesn't burn a hole in the pocket. The car is already getting rave verito review from tech gurus and car enthusiasts.
Exterior
All new Mahindra Verito 1.5 D4 possess all the looks of a successful car in the making. The refreshed Verito has newly stylized bumpers which go well to maintain the sleeker look of the sedan. The chrome plated front grille which is more attractive than the previous one and freshly designed boot lid which further enhances the style quotient of the car. High eyebrow styled headlights with and fog lamps further add dazzle to the design. Newly added charming roof rails and good use of chrome to the finish add finesse to the overall tweaked look of the car. Mahindra Verito 1.5 D4 scores all the brownie points when it comes to classy design and subdued masculinity which holds very well for a sedan in the segment. The changes in the exteriors are very well organised and are not loud which further heighten the effect of the car. The newly designed alloy wheels have especially been designed to make the look all the more upmarket. The newly added side cladding and the new Mahindra logo just completes the chic look of the car. The car is available in host of colour choices. The car comes in beautiful shades of Diamond white, Fiery Black, Toreador Red, Java Brown, Mist Silver, Rocky Beige, Twilight Blue and Dolphin Grey out of which the last one i.e dolphin grey is new to the offered platter. Mahindra Verito 1.5 D4 with all the good looks and style and practicality is all the more tempting. The car is worth every penny especially after sensible styling and good old DNA of the car which is already tried and tested on Indian roads.
Interiors
Mahindra Verito 1.5 D4 has dazzling interior upgrades to match its exteriors. The car comes with lavish use of chrome to the knick knacks. The metal finished upholstery is classy and top notch. The newly added technologically advanced music system which takes most of the central space is 2 DIN player. The music player adds zing to the overall driving experience. The plush use of fabrics gives the car cabin a sophisticated look. The differently designed door and grab handles are definitely upgraded. The central console has uncluttered looks with well coordinated colour scheme does justice to maintain the ambience in the car. The use of good fabrics on the seats and ergonomically well designed arrangement; makes up for all the practical styling of this car.
Engine and performance (power mileage, acceleration, and pick up)
Mahindra Verito 1.5 D4 retains the engine of the predecessor. The car is a diesel variant of the fleet just newly launched. Mahindra Verito 1.5 D4 1.5 litre CRDi 4 cylinder engine which gives an easy power of 68 PS and a maximum torque of 160 NM is worth its while. The engine has proven efficacy and fuel economy.
Breaking and handling
TheVerito D4 has all the features to give a complete and safe drive experience. The car comes fitted with modern suspension system and better steering mechanics. The handling of the car is made all the more easy since car feels agile in the hand of amateur and expert equally. High ground clearance and better mechanics of the car are a cut above the rest which makes sure that it glides easy even on the difficult terrain.

Comfort features
The car takes of the passengers very well. The plush interiors and ergonomically upgraded car cabin seats five people very easily. The car cabin is roomy and has good legroom and head space. The car has sun visors and comes mounted with rear defogger, moulded floor carpets, AC with heater and remote operated fuel lid opener which make the drive all the more interesting. The car has proven fuel economy and low maintenance costs.
Pros
The earlier complaints have been rectified in the new variant. The wiper is improved for the better and forever. The more convenience added with practically designed interiors with the sensible price is just an advantage over the sedans in its league.

Mahindra Verito looks awesome, from both interior and exterior. its electric variant is low power as compared with other variants. But it is very cheaper as compared with even two-wheelers.it is more comfortable to ride because of automatic gears more safety with airbags and economically this car is the best car. But better to improve its power. Exterior, Decent looks for the car, looks good from Side and back I have a walnut brown color car with body graphics and alloy wheels, they suit the car very much, just love the car...I find the looks are good Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Just wow....when I talk about driving comfort, space in offer...we get very good leg space for both front and back seat passengers, seats are designed very well to give you a very very comfortable ride for long drives, So far I have driven around 350KM after purchase and longest I drove was 60 KM and throughout this I did not feel tired, or uncomfortable while driving & my height is 6ft 1 Inches. The back seat passengers also get good comfortable seating & headrest. I can easily say that this is one of the very few cars which has comfortable seating space for 3 adults in the back seat. Suspensions are best in the class, you just don't feel the bad roads, shocks get absorbed very well. If I don't tell about AC then I might not be writing the review properly, for AC I have just one word, mindblowing..... I have not seen the immediate cooling effect in my old swift, or any other MS cars...This one is amazing, hats off to the performance of the AC. Feeling hot switch the AC on and it obliges you by cooling the cabin within a fraction of second Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Well....1.5DCI Renault engine is amazingly tuned for both city and long drives.....There is minimal turbo lag in 1st gear...guess that very common in diesel cars...But if all the gears are changed within the span 1000-2000RPM this machine is very smooth to drive. Otherwise also this Renault engine is very powerful.....I like the vehicles pulling capacity in 2nd, 3rd, 4th & 5th gear a lot... I just enjoy the drive-in these gears, Since this vehicle as good pull in all the gears, frequent gear shifting is not required. Till now I recollect of maximum gear change till 2nd gear when speed breaker comes or bad road comes. I put 1st gear only when I start from the stationary position. I never got a feeling that I am driving 66BHP engine....reason being the engines amazing pulling capacity with or without AC Gear change ratio is good, since you don't need to shift gear downwards frequently I am sure the person driving will love to drive this car Fuel Economy not measured completely, but what I can see from odometer is 15-16 on an average for city driving with AC, but I have to check the mileage accurately using the full tank to full tank theory. I am sure will get the accurate reading at that time. I am expecting it to be around 19-20 in the city with the new measuring technique Ride Quality & Handling After writing all this review guess it is understood that this section also will be amazing in the car, and yes that's correct, ride quality and handling is one of the best in class Final Words I would just recommend this car to my friends & family members, I have made the best choice by purchasing this car area of improvement Only in terms of features.... Well...very less as this variant comes with most of the features, but 2nd airbag, tilt steering, audio and Bluetooth control on steering wheel, etc......but these all are just luxuries features all bare basic safety features such as ABS, Driver Airbag are there in the vehicle.Read More
