Let's get aware of the Ford Figo 1.2P Trend MT , which is their mid range version. It renders a breathtaking aspect with chrome surrounded front grille and Silver painted grille bars. Door handles, outside rear view mirrors, front and rear bumpers are painted in the same color as its body shade that is available in a total of 7 different paint options. Inside the cabin, this hatchback has been equipped with tremendous entertaining functions, including an FM radio, Aux-in port, USB socket, bluetooth connectivity and an MFD screen. Its front door panels looks superb with fabric upholstery. Moreover, inside door handles, audio bezel and steering wheel are painted in Lunar Grey color in order to look more classy. Talking about its comfort aspects, it gets tilt adjustable steering, guide me home headlights, front dome lamp, steering mounted audio and phone controls. Coming to the security functions, there is a little package comprising of engine immobilizer, keyless entry, dual front airbags and much more. Shedding light beneath its skin, this model is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that generates 86.8bhp at 6300rpm. Apart from all this, the company is offering this hatchback series with a 2 year or 1,00,000 Kms warranty (whichever is earlier). This can be further increased by taking an extended warranty scheme from the authorized dealer for a few more years as well. Then, it gives a Roadside Assistance program as well, which means that there is a 24x7 help line that helps you to connect to the nearest Ford service station. Further, we have depicted below all the in-depth information of this trim under different sub-headings for better understanding.

Exteriors:

This model looks quite magnificent with alluring furnishings in order to enthrall the customers. Let's have a look at its adornments, it has chrome surrounded front grille, while the bars are in Silver color. As we have told you above, that the outside rear view mirrors, door handles, front and rear bumpers are available in the same body color, but besides these, there is a headlamp bezel that is amazingly increasing the charm of this trim with chrome treatment. Moreover, it includes rear fog lamps and B as well as C pillar Black applique. Being a hatchback model, it is 3886mm in length, 1695mm in width, 1525mm in height and has a wheel base of 2491mm. This runabout has a front track of 1492mm, rear track of 1484mm, ground clearance of 174mm and a minimum turning radius of 4.9 meters. It also has a 257 litre boot compartment, which is almost enough to carry your necessary luggage. This can be further increased by folding the rear bench seat. On the other hand, this model has a fuel tank capacity of 42 litres. It is present in 7 color options, which are Sparkling Gold, Ruby Red, Oxford White, Tuxedo Black, Deep Impact Blue, Ingot Silver and Smoke Grey as well.

Interiors:

Inside, it is available in Charcoal Black and Lunar Grey color combination, where the latter has been applied on the steering wheel, audio bezel and door handles, the former is to be seen on the rest of its parts. Fabric dressed seats and front door panel further adds to its looks. This vehicle gets adjustable front seat headrests, chrome inserted parking brake lever tip, driver and passenger vanity mirrors. Moreover, 12 volt front power point, rear parcel tray, driver sunvisor ticket strap and map pocket for the front passengers have also been found within its cabin. The infotainment system comes with an MFD screen along with a USB, AUX-in and FM/AM radio and four speakers, two for the front and other ones for the rear.

Engine and Performance:

An appreciable 86.8bhp of power and 112Nm torque come from the 1.2-litre, Ti-VCT based motor. Based on a DOHC valve configuration, this mill has four cylinders and displacement capacity of 1196cc. Along with a direct injection fuel supply system, it offers 18.16 Kmpl of fuel efficiency on the highways, whereas its city mileage is 14.68 Kmpl. This is skilfully mated to a 5-speed manual transmission box.

Braking and Handling:

The ventilated disc and standard drum brakes are affixed to the front and rear wheels respectively. The front axle is paired to an independent McPherson strut with coil spring and anti-roll bar, while the rear one includes a semi independent twist beam with twin gas and oil filled shock absorbers.

Comfort Features:

The manufacturer has bestowed incredible comfy equipments in this vehicle, which are truly quite impressive. It has tilt steering, front dome light, boot lamp, steering mounted audio as well as phone controls and guide me home headlights. Its cluster display unifies gear shift indicator, distance to empty, warnings related to low fuel, maintenance, door left ajar and water temperature light. The ORVMs come with power turn indicators and power adjustment facility. There are power windows for all windows, in which the driver side has one touch up/down facility. Apart from these, this hatchback also comprises an electric boot release, 6-speed variable intermittent front wipers, battery saver, tachometer, MyFord dock, auto door lock and interior grab handles with coat hooks. Undoubtedly, all these given convenient facilities are superbly enough in conferring a pleasant drive for all the passengers.

Safety Features:

Well, this section is lagging behind a little when compared to its other aspects, but its doesn't mean that the occupants are unsafe. This model includes all important equipments, which can keep the occupants safe via protecting them from any bodily wound. It gets airbags for both the front passengers. Other features come in the form of keyless entry, engine immobilizer, front 3 point seat belts as well as rear seat belts for all three rear travelers.

    The car is good

The car is good. And the engine gives a great performance. In 6 years there is no issue in the engine. Totally 1 lakh km is covered till now. Issue only in ground clearance. As in India, there are plenty of speed breakers which is not having any standard size. Some are small and some are too big. It touches the bottom of the car. Overall car is awesome.Read More
