MG Hector 2021-2023 Maintenance Cost

It is a very nice family car. Every seat is very comfortable, the rear seats have plenty of legroom moreover the boot space is huge. It takes the family to any destination very comfortably. The music system is also of top-notch quality. I purchased one of the first MG Hectors in my city when it was just launched in India. And am happy with my decision To summarise. Pros:- Very large boot space, plenty of legroom, good music system ahead in terms of features stylish looks very comfortable stable at high speeds, good service, the phone app connected features also help many times. Cons:- Mileage on a little lesser side Ui of the touchscreen looks laggy, voice command sometimes doesn't work properly and becomes a headache, the car is huge so can't go in many tight Indian streets.

That's a superb experience. Great mileage, great service, giant look, luxury, Super cool, excellent performance.

I'm happy that I have taken a great decision by choosing MG Hector sharp CVT. Extremely comfortable, great features at this price point. Super drivability, you will enjoy the drives. Super looks and the interior is luxurious. Suspension is great, music is great, service is amazing, and so are the service plans. Their 555 plan is something which is unbelievable. This car is the best in this segment without any doubt. Every big-sized SUV gives a similar mileage, for me, it is 11 in the city. There could be some pseudo nationalists or competitors who I believe are trying to tarnish the image of this car for all known reasons. Don't get sold to Pseudo nationalism and then regret it later. Whatsoever, the truth will prevail, the sales of this car are going great! Don't even compare this with the smaller or one level down compact SUVs like slots or Creta. Harrier seems to be a direct competitor but you know Tata's service, also harrier feels claustrophobic, plus it's only in diesel (The biggest negative being Tata's after-sales service). If all you want is a great car, also expecting great service, then go for it without any second thought.

As an owner after 1st service. The Hector Plus as a package is value for money and makes you feel luxurious. No problems mechanically till now. It is the diesel sharp variant. Completely satisfied with the purchase.

I bought MG Hector Plus 6 seater Diesel Sharp on 15 Dec 2021. On 3rd day the issue started with the clutch plate burn issue. The clutch got stuck inside, and I had to pull it over from behind the clutch. Next again went for a drive, and the same issue happened with clutch burning. The service center had replaced the clutch assembly, pedal, master cylinder, release bearing, oil, etc. Today again I faced a clutch burning smell. Good at the highway, pathetic in city drive. I am totally disappointed.

The MG Hector is a phenomenal car in every way. The British Motor Company facelifted the iconic Hector in January 2021, which turned everyone's head towards. So was I when I first came to know about the car. The car offered numerous features such as voice command, a large panoramic sunroof, a large touch screen, parking sensors and a 360-degree camera. I was really impressed with the tech inside it. Though the waiting period was too much, I booked it. I went for the sharp Diesel turbo 2.0 variant. The car arrived after 3 months. The excitement that the car provided never faded unless I was delivered with the car. And after being the owner of the car too, I enjoy every moment with the car. I get an approximate mileage of 16.5kmpl. Servicing the car is very easy. The showrooms representatives are really down to earth. The maintenance cost isn't much either. The performance, suspension, comfort, build quality are really up to British standards. I love every part of the car. Overall, I'm really impressed with the new MG Hector. This car can really fulfil all your needs that you think that a car can offer.

For around the last 9 months - I facing still the problem 1. In front, both wheels come with heavy noise but are not resolved 2. Front both door bottom black plastic cladding frequently fall down due to its lock is damaged, and as per service head due to this happening due to footrest and same was suggested by MG so I'm procured and fix 3. Driver side inside door handle internally crack due to quality of use plastic is poor 4. Poor quality of lock-in sunglasses box 5. Foot mate locking arrangement is very poor

Overall car is nice, Comfort superb Milege a little bit less, Service is superb. Would like to recommend this car.
