- MG HECTOR: The Perfect Family CarIt is a very nice family car. Every seat is very comfortable, the rear seats have plenty of legroom moreover the boot space is huge. It takes the family to any destination very comfortably. The music system is also of top-notch quality. I purchased one of the first MG Hectors in my city when it was just launched in India. And am happy with my decision To summarise. Pros:- Very large boot space, plenty of legroom, good music system ahead in terms of features stylish looks very comfortable stable at high speeds, good service, the phone app connected features also help many times. Cons:- Mileage on a little lesser side Ui of the touchscreen looks laggy, voice command sometimes doesn't work properly and becomes a headache, the car is huge so can't go in many tight Indian streets.Read More11 2

Price: Prices for the MG Hector range from Rs 14.73 lakh to Rs 20.66 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).
Variants: MG offers it in four trims: Style, Shine, Smart and Sharp.
Seating Capacity: It offers to seat five occupants.
Engine and Transmission: The Hector gets two engine options: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol (making 143PS and 250Nm) and a 2-litre diesel (170PS and 350Nm). Both engines are mated to a six-speed manual transmission, with an optional eight-speed CVT for the petrol engine. A 48-volt mild-hybrid system is also available with the petrol-manual drivetrain.
Features: Features on board the MG Hector include 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, Hinglish commands for connected car tech, and an auto-dimming IRVM. Its feature list also comprises a 10.4-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, Infinity sound system, panoramic sunroof, cruise control, automatic climate control, powered driver’s seat and ambient lighting.
Safety: On the safety front, it gets six airbags, front and rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control and a 360-degree camera.
Rivals: MG Hector locks horns with the Jeep Compass, Tata Harrier, Hyundai Tucson and higher-spec variants of compact SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Skoda Kushaq, Volkswagen Taigun and Kia Seltos.
2023 MG Hector: The facelifted MG Hector has been unveiled in India. The facelifted SUV gets design changes inside and out.
