2015 Range Rover Sport RS version spied

The performance-oriented RS version of the 2014 Range Rover Sport has been spotted testing somewhere in Europe. It is likely to be called as 2015 Range Rover Sport, and is expected to hit the global markets by the end of 2014 or by 2015. The spotted vehicle is partially camouflaged, and presents few of its styling cues like hood, door handles, rear's center area, roof etc.

The 2015 Range Rover Sport has a more aggressive body kit with slightly bigger bumpers, larger air intakes, sportier suspensions and a Brembo braking system with red calipers. It is also expected that interior of the vehicle will also get some sporty touches.

Under the hood, the vehicle is likely to be powered by a V8 5.0-litre supercharged engine that is capable of developing around 550bhp and 680Nm of top torque. The current supercharged model of the vehicle churns out maximum power output of 510bhp and accelerates to 96kmph from standstill in mere 5 seconds. It is also speculated that Land Rover is also working on a high performance RS version of the Evoque.
