Volkswagen Polo launching in India

Volkswagen will launch a new car in India by the next year. The German auto car maker company is confident for their next generation car in India to be launched in 2009. It is going to be a new style by the Volkswagen somewhat similar to the scintillating Scirocco, which is a three door coupe. More it proves that it is the company's new redefined model which is capable of compating with the auto market. Volkswagen is making its market impact since 1975. This new Polo is somewhat similar with the previous generation polo in having the same popular platform PQ25 but possess a different wheelbase of 2470mm. Moreover Volkswagen is thinking to build  a variant in saloon which is needed to be made in India and Russia.
  Volkswagen Polo is capable of taking market challanges with Maruti Swift, Hyundai Getz and even the new Tata Indica. Volkswagen Polo is expected to be manufactured at the Pune plant of the company. At this Pune plant it is expected that the company will manufacture nearly 110,000 units till by 2009. Volkswagen is also planning to start a new B category car segment in India. Volkswagen is expecting to have a growth of nearly 66% this current fiscal year. With the launch of the new model they are expecting to have much more growth.
