Other than that, Nissan has also lived up to its corporate commitments through various programs, under which 16 residential homes, a local police station, and a fire service station were constructed near its plant near Chennai. So, other than wooing the country through Nissan cars in India, the Indian arm of the Japanese car maker has also endeavored to fulfill its responsibility towards the society through its various Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives.

Other than that, NMIPL has a network of 70 dealers operational across major cities in India, and NMIPL plans to further up that number to 150 by 2013.
