WAGON R i believe is the only car in the market which can be put in the bracket of family car. It has got two aspects that no other car in this class can offer. 1. Up front seating posture-Those who use wagon R can never sit comfortably in swift,i 20 or whatever hatchback or sedan you bring. They can be comfortable only in SUV's. And boy due to its upfront seating posture the Dash view is complete with no obstruction. 2. CNG compatability- I have not seen any other car so compatible with CNG, i have been using CNG version for almost 6 years now and i have never experienced any problem. it continously gives a mileage of above 25 kmpkg. And this is one reason why wagon R is no. one choice across NCR or the places where CNG is available. At least every 5th car on the road is Wagon R. 3. Dash View- Due to its upfront positioning no hatchback can match its Dash view. Its just to good. 4. Ground Clarence -People often talk about ground Clarence, and in hatchbacks with the same budget no one can compete with Hatch. i have been taking this car for ling tours as well like Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakahand and boy it performs. 5. Space- It is not the best in the class but believe me its not the worst in the class too. Due to its straight seating posture you don't have to adjust your knees so that it don't hurt he front passenger through the seat ha ha ha ha ha. Space as such is not a problem with this Hatch and you can seat 5 people aaram se. 6. 60-40-people talk of this concept quite often and i keep wondering what the hell is this. the concept came so long in the wagon R. It was present in the first wagon R as well. and it of course has got its use. 7. Engine-it is the tried and tested Maruti engine which has never given any problem to any one till today. i have not seen any maruti car break down anywhere on the road and not in the rain as well as is the often case with tata cars. 8. Maneuvering - This aspect i know should not feature here as there are other hatch backs thats are present to compete in this aspect and they ofcourse score over this. but there is one aspect of maneuvering that people forget. most of the hatch backs due to its seating posture of lying down its hard to see in all sides that too when you are in city on a congested road. and wagon R scores over ther as well, the driver just relaxes because view form the seat for erect posture is always in all directions and its wide and clear. 9. dependency- as i wrote its a maruti car that need not to be mentioned it has never given me any oops moment of being with me for so long.
