Great car

The 2011 swift looks identical to the car it replaced. I love the looks and finds it fascinating how the same design ideology that was revealed a decade back can still be tweaked to look modern enough. the large headlamps are stretched out, while the orvm get integrated blinkers.the bumper has become too big, and the actual hatch to small build quality is par for course, it is good enough for the price point at which swift start. the diesel engine 1.3L power 75ps@4000 rpm and 190nm torque @2000 rpm there is definite turbo lag under 2000 rpm the power delivery is good still the turbo lag affect city drivability. the new swift has power delivery that's lot more linear boost can be felt at 2100 rpm, in terms of outright performance the swift is quick enough for 0 to 100 in 16 sec the engine feels immensely tractable once you cross 2100 rpm. the gear quality is butter smooth. it is slick to use and gear slot nicely. other few things that disturbed me are : the oem tyre 165/80r14 for vdi model is very thin tyres. secondly the boot space is very low. but if we ignore this swift is a value for money and has good resale value.
