Hyundai Verna is one of the most exquisitely designed C-segment sedans in the country. Verna has been around for a while now, and everybody is quite familiar with the name. I have recently purchased the new Hyundai Verna and the driving experience so far has been smooth and comfortable, the suspension is pretty good and features too, are above my expectations. The 2017 Verna is, of course, the improved version with fluidic design and more powerful engines. The new sedan from Hyundai gets the familiar face and large hexagonal radiator grille, the stance is very mature and sure-footed. Newest Verna is based on Hyundai?s K2 platform that means it gets 50% high strength steel in its physique. Hyundai Verna looks like a baby Elantra and gets more elegant and sophisticated looks. The rear end is the part that compels anyone to turn head with all new tail lamps with LED and attractive rear boot. The cabin inside is done with beige and black with an updated list of features. The new features include bigger 7-inch touchscreen unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, ventilated front seats, dual USB charging points, climate control, power windows and electrically adjustable ORVMs. Verna gets a pair of 1.6L engine and that?s the most powerful one as compared to other cars in the segment and refined at driving as well. I own the petrol variant Verna that makes the power output of 123PS and yields the peak torque of 151Nm. The thing that bothers me is that rear seats are not foldable while in features there is no rain sensing wipers and no auto foldable ORVMs. But looking from the overall perspective, new Hyundai Verna is a perfect buy for the family.
