Hyundai Grand i10: First getaway with excellent engineering

For the my first car I wanted something that would fit in my budget and my parking space as well. I've been using zen estilo for 4-5 years but was fedup with his complications with CNG. My budget was around 4-5 Lakhs. So I decided to have a new car. For starter the kuv 100 was looking pretty good as it was spacious and was bold looking too. Finally went to hyundai for their i10 but instead I insisted on test drive of Grand i10. After test drive it was clear that I had decided which car I will be finalizing with Hyundai. When I entered the car for the first time I was surprised with the space they have provided for every thing. Features were even better than KUV 100. Engine and Performance: Engine is pretty powerful and good. On long run it manages to give good mileage. Even after crossing 80-90 if you press down the throttle it will speed up instantly. Space: Its having awesome space. Its the prime requirement for a tall person, it has got excellent Leg Room, Boot Space as well as Head Room. Design: Design of the car is very decent, unlike typical hatchbacks with boring matchbox design, it has got eye catching looks for a man. Transmission: Never had felt any problems shifting the gears, even the clutch is very smooth, unlike KUV100 this car is better in his class, plus the stick looks kinda cool. Braking: I have one with ABS, so never had felt any problem halting the car at high speeds, it will stop at your desired location provided you know when to apply brakes. Noise and Vibrations: As I said earlier that engine is free from any kind of noise, eventually you wont hear any kind of noise if you put up the windows of every side. During driving you will also not fell any engine vibrations. The proper damping and soundproofing of the car makes it good for having a pleasant drive in city like Delhi. Suspension: Car suspension is just perfect. Even on rough roads, the ride is smooth. Even the back seat passenger is build for pure comfort. Steering: I dont know whether you guys have heard of the term "steering to makkhan hai" well after my test ride I found out the meaning of that sentence. Its very excellently built for quick response. Air Conditioning: It is really working up to the mark and cools the cars fast enough and engine response is still good enough while the AC is active. Music System: Music is very necessary for every car owner, eventually every one gets bored at some time, thats why for consistency Hyundai has provided the best in class music system, you literally can feel the smallest of the beat without disturbing anyone outside the car. Mileage: Car is giving good mileage till now, I have one with company fitted CNG sequential kit. But still gives good mileage on petrol also with AC. So far I haven't faced any problems with the car apart from the fact that I accidentally scratched the left door while turning left from a narrow street... Felt very bad after I had a look at the scratch.. Other than that car is pure perfection in every thing.
