Mercedes Benz India, the Indian ancillary of the German auto giant has launched the 2014 version of its luxury saloon, Mercedes Benz S Class. This latest edition is full of extravagance and opulence unlike any other saloon in this segment. By launching the new Mercedes Benz S Class S 500 , the company made it clear that it is leaving no stone in the automobile segment to regain the top slot. Powering this particular saloon is the magnanimous V8, 4.7-litre, twin-turbocharged petrol power plant that can produce an immense power of 459bhp and yields a mammoth 700Nm of torque output. It takes only about 4.8 seconds for the vehicle to cross the 100 Kmph speed barrier, which is remarkable.
