This particular variant is doing its duty since the time Bolero was first launched in India in 2001. The direct injection technology in the engine is advantageous because of its low manufacturing cost. The 2523 cc of DI Turbo diesel engine is less powerful and manages to churn out just 63 bhp of power at 3200 rpm and a maximum torque of 180 Nm at 1440-1500 rpm.
