Hyundai Cars are globally known for their outstanding design and refined technologies. The company has launched its Creta SUV series in the Indian car bazaar. It is being sold in both petrol and diesel engine options. The company has introduced this utility vehicle in quite a few variants. The Hyundai Creta 1.4 CRDi S Plus is their diesel engine based mid range trim. It is fitted with a 1.4-litre diesel power plant, which comes with a displacement capacity of 1396cc. It is coupled with a six speed manual transmission gear box. This fuel efficient engine has the ability to produce impressive power and torque outputs. Its suspension system is quite proficient that assists in keeping the vehicle stable. It also has a reliable braking system, which is further enhanced by anti lock braking system along with EBD. This sports utility vehicle is designed with a large wheelbase and decent ground clearance that makes it capable for off-roading. Its robust and attractive body design is equipped with many aspects that gives it a striking overall appearance. Exteriors:

To begin with the frontage, it has a bold radiator grille with chrome. This grille is flanked by a trendy headlight cluster that features bright halogen lamps and side turn indicator. The body colored bumper houses a wide air intake section that is flanked by a pair of fog lamps. It has a large windscreen that is accompanied by a couple of intermittent wipers. The side profile has body colored door handles and external wing mirrors. These electrically adjustable ORVMs are integrated with side turn indicator. The wheel arches are fitted with alloy wheels further covered with 205/65 R16 sized tubeless radial tyres. The rear end has a large boot lid with variant badging and a thick chrome strip. The tail light cluster is incorporated with reversing and brake lights. The rear windshield has a defogger and also accompanied by a sporty rear spoiler.

Interiors:

The lavish internal section is equipped with a number of sophisticated features, which makes it quite comfortable. The inside doors handles and parking lever have chrome finishing that further adds a classy look. The cabin is incorporated with well cushioned seats that are covered with fabric upholstery. The driver's seat comes with height adjustable function. All the seats have integrated head restraints, while rear seat comes with split foldable. Engine and Performance:

Under the bonnet, this variant is fitted with a 1.4-litre diesel engine, which comes with a displacement capacity of 1396cc. It is integrated with four cylinders and sixteen valves using double overhead camshaft based valve configuration. This diesel motor can produce a maximum power output of 88.8bhp at 4000rpm along with a peak torque output of 219.6Nm in the range of 1500 to 2750rpm. This power plant is cleverly mated with a 6-speed manual transmission gear box, which sends the engine power to its front wheels.

Braking and Handling:

This vehicle has dual diagonal, split circuit braking system braking system. Its front and rear wheels are equipped with a set of ventilated disc and drum brakes respectively. This braking mechanism is further augmented by ABS along with electronic brake force distribution. At the same time, the front axle is fitted with a McPherson strut and rear axle gets a coupled torsion beam type of mechanism. Both these axles are further assisted by coil springs that gives a jerk free driving experience. Its speed sensitive steering wheel is tilt adjustable and has a minimum turning radius of 5.2 meters.

Comfort Features:

For giving a pleasurable driving experience, it is bestowed with an advanced stereo unit that is equipped with CD/ MP3 player, USB, Aux-in port along with six speakers and Bluetooth connectivity. It supports a touchscreen audio visual navigation system that adds to the advantage. Its illuminated instrument cluster houses a lot of functions including a low fuel warning light, driver seat belt reminder notification, an electronic tripmeter, a tachometer, a digital clock, external temperature display, digital odometer and many other warning and notifications for keeping the driver updated. One of the most important features is an efficient air conditioning system along with rear AC vents that cools the entire cabin in no time. Apart from these, it is equipped with all four power windows with driver side auto down function, remote fuel lid opener, rear defogger and so on. All these features put together makes it one of the comfortable vehicles in its segment.

Safety Features:

The car manufacturer has given this variant a long list of protective aspects, which keeps the passengers as well as this vehicle safe.
