Latest Update: Mercedes-Benz has launched the AMG E 53 4MATIC+ Cabriolet in India.
Price: Prices for the AMG E 53 Cabriolet start at Rs 1.30 crore (ex-showroom).
Engine and Transmission: The E 53 Cabriolet uses a 3-litre, inline-six, turbo-petrol engine that makes 435PS and 520Nm. From a 48-volt motor, it gets a boost of 22PS and 250Nm. This engine is mated to a nine-speed torque converter. It can do the 0-100kmph sprint in 4.5 seconds and gets a top speed of 250kmph. It also features the carmaker’s 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system.
Features: Features on board include dual 12.3-inch displays (touchscreen infotainment and digital driver’s display), a 13-speaker Burmester sound system, 64-colour ambient lighting and a heads-up display.
Safety: In terms of passenger safety, it gets seven airbags and driver-assistance features such as attention assist, blind spot monitoring and active brake assist.
Rivals: As of now, it doesn’t have any direct rivals in the country.
