Jeep Wrangler 2016-2019 latest updates
Jeep has fully unveiled the all-new, fourth-generation Wrangler at the 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show. With the extensive use of aluminium, the 2018 Wrangler has shed a lot of weight and now comes with a downsized turbocharged petrol engine along with V6 petrol and diesel motors and a new 8-speed automatic. As expected, the fourth-gen model remains unmistakably Wrangler and comes with more equipment and improved off-road capabilities. Check out the detailed info here.
Earlier from February 2017, Jeep introduced the petrol powered Wrangler Unlimited in the country. It is powered by a 24-valve, 3.6-litre 'Pentastar' V6 VVT engine that makes 284PS of power and 347Nm of torque. The petrol model, just like its diesel sibling, gets a 4WD system and a 5-speed automatic transmission. Key features of the Wrangler Unlimited include McKinley leather seats, automatic climate control, keyless entry and auto headlamps. For entertainment, the SUV is offered with a nine-speaker Alpine music system and a 6.5-inch Uconnect touchscreen infotainment system that can be operated via voice commands. Unique features include a wash-out interior with removable carpets and drain-plugs, along with full-framed doors that are removable too.
