The 2016 Indian Auto Expo successfully completed its second public day. Yesterday, the automotive extravagance had 1,12,400 visitors. Visitors from all around India appeared to witness the automobiles on display and try games and interactions on various stalls. Customers can also take a virtual tour of the expo at the CarDekho stall in hall number 8.

The day saw some high profile visits like various Secretaries, Ministers, MPs, MLAs from various states besides Delhi. Film star, Taapsee Pannu and Manchester United great, Louis Saha also came to the venue for the event. Organizers and exhibitors were happy with the response from people and were pleased with the crowd control, security and traffic management at the venue as controlling such a massive crowd is not an easy task.

Apart from the automotive showcase, the Auto expo had activities like street-plays, puppet shows, various programs at the anti-counterfeiting campaign stall, groups of superbikers visiting the venue etc. The day concluded with a laser show which was a huge draw among the visitors.

Mr Katsushi Inoue, president and CEO, Honda Cars India Ltd, said, “We have received a fabulous response from the visitors today for Honda BR-V. This is very promising considering India is an important market for us. It is the largest contributor to the Asia & Oceania region and the 4thlargest contributor for Honda’s automobile sales globally, making it one of the most important and fastest growing markets for us. We wish to exceed the customer’s expectations and accelerate our growth this year and also strengthen our brand in the country."

“The introduction of Honda BR-V is a testament of our commitment towards the Indian consumer and we have already received a lot of queries for the BR-V alone today”, he further added.
