2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek, a Perfect Option for India

United States of America will soon see the Subaru XV Crosstrek, based off the new Impreza. The price for the XV Crosstrek will start from USD 21,995 which is close to Rs. 12.25 Lakh for the Premium and the Limited Edition, better equipped version will cost somewhere close to USD 24,495 which when converted to INR is close to Rs. 13.64 Lakh (Prices excluding destination fee).

Irrespective of the trim, the latest from the house of Subaru, the 2013 XV Crosstrek will come in with a 2.0-litre boxer engine which delivers 148bhp and is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT- Continuously Variable Transmission which, comes as an option on the Premium and as a standard on the Limited edition. The All-Wheel drive comes as a standard on all models.

Talking about India, a crossover in a price range of Rs. 12 Lakh approximately is a very good option. In case Subaru does plan to bring the XV Crosstrek here, it won’t be the first time that India would see the Boxer engine. Chevrolet Forestor was sold in India when Subaru and GM were in partnership.
