February 04, 2016: Hyundai India has showcased the i30 premium hatchback at the 2016 Auto Expo. The car is the elder sibling of the i20, that being sold in the Indian market. Hyundai i30 is already running in the European and various other markets of the world, except India. It is expected that due to the growing popularity of premium hatchbacks in the Indian market, i30 could be a car on Hyundai’s future launch cards. The car looks contemporary, with the rear profile resembling the earlier i20 sold in India. Inside also, it gets a number mouth watering features that would appease the elite customers of the country.

Hyundai Reveals Specification and Pricing of i30

Hyundai Motor UK has officially revealed the specification and pricing of new i30 range including, for the first time, the i30 Turbo. The base model i30 S which will replace the Classic model is priced at £15,195 (INR 14.60 lac). The S model gets keyless entry, USB and AUX connections and Bluetooth connectivity. Read Full News

Hyundai i30 to Launch in Australia in 2013; India Later?

Hyundai Australia is all set to bring the Hyundai i30 to the country by early 2013. This new model will be offered in two trims namely; Hyundai i30 Active and Elite. The new i30 petrol version is to house the 1.6-litre GDi engine that will churn out a respectable 133bhp and 164Nm of peak torque. The diesel version on the other hand offers 126bhp with 260Nm of peak torque. Both the engine versions will have a 6-speed manual or automatic transmission option. Hyundai Bags Three Awards For Design in Automotive Brand Contest

Hyundai has received three awards at the second edition of the Automotive Brand Contest, organised by the German Design Council. The New Generation i30 won ‘Best Interior’ and ‘Best Exterior’, while the ‘Best Concept’ title was awarded to the i-oniq show car.
