Honda Cars entered the Indian market in 1995 with a focus on offering premium passenger cars packed with the latest technology. Honda recently introduced the all-new CR-V SUV with a 7-seater option as well. The Honda Amaze sub-4m compact sedan retails in high numbers as well with the 2018 model already recording sales of over 50,000 units within five months of launch.
The company also has a hybrid model in its range called the Accord premium sedan which is sold as a CBU unit, imported from Thailand. Honda has plans to introduce a mass-market electrified vehicle in India by 2021. The Japanese carmaker has invested heavily in India over the years with two manufacturing facilities - one in U.P. and the other in Rajasthan. Honda has also created a large sales and distribution network across the country with 341 facilities in 231 cities.

- Honda ElevateAmazing SUVBought the ZX CVT Black Edition. Overall, it's a great choice if you're looking for a practical SUV. I also considered the Creta and Seltos, but ultimately chose the Elevate for its long-term ownership potential. The only drawbacks I found are that the NVH levels are a bit high and it doesn't offer ventilated seats. Apart from these, I don't think there are any major issues. Honda should focus on better marketing and consider adding a few feature-rich additions that customers often look for and that help in promotions.Read More
- Honda City30K Kms Review On 5th Gen Honda CityI have the 5th Gen purchased during 2021. I have so far clocked 38K kms. A few pros and cons are listed below pros 1. Car is butter smooth to drive. Suspension is on the soft side and rear passenger comfort is the best 2. I get a mileage of 22kms on highways being driven around 80Kmph. In city like Bengaluru I get 14kms on average traffic flows 3. Steering has brilliant response and associates heft. Gives great confidence on highways Cons 1. Noise insulation is poor. External noise is heard includes wind noise and engine noise when driven around 80Kmph 2. Ground clearance is poor when run with full load of 4 people . I have to be cautious on speed breakers 3. Paint thickness is somehow not upto the mark 4. Maintenance costs are on the higher side approx 18K per year.Read More
