Pros & Cons

Pros
Cons

VinFast VF7
- Design is quite attractive and non controversial, will appeal to many
- Simple styling is clean and fit and finish is top notch
- Two EV powertrain options with plenty of power each
Mahindra XEV 9e
- Two battery pack options with an estimated real-world range of 400-500km and 175kW DC fast charging compatibility feels reassuring on long road trips
- The strong safety suite includes well-calibrated L2 ADAS. Works well in Indian conditions and very useful in low visibility situations
- Performance: Smooth for regular usage and punchy on highways
- Feature-rich: Triple 12.3-inch displays, 16-speaker Harman/Kardon audio, auto park, and powered and ventilated front seats

VinFast VF7
- Driver doesn’t get a separate information screen just a heads-up display
- Brand value and reputation is still a question mark
Mahindra XEV 9e
- Rear seat experience could be better: Sloping roofline limits headroom and under thigh support feels less for tall people
