Pros & Cons

Pros
Cons

BYD Sealion 7
- SUV coupe styling is executed well, looks much more expensive than it actually is.
- 82.56kWh battery capacity ensures a real world range of 500km.
- Impeccable interior quality for the price. Soft touch material used generously on the dashboard and door pads.
- Features: 15.6” touchscreen, 10.25” driver’s display, panoramic glass roof, Level 2 ADAS — it has it all.
Volvo EX40
- Classy and understated styling
- Top-notch interior quality
- Loaded with comfort, convenience and safety features
- Hair-raising performance makes it a delight to drive

BYD Sealion 7
- Ride quality feels firm. Does not feel very comfortable over broken roads.
- Lacks the brand value/prestige many expect from a vehicle costing as much.
Volvo EX40
- ADAS features can be tricky to operate in Indian traffic conditions
- Spare tyre eats into usable boot space
- Segment-above petrol-powered options available at a similar price
