    Price: BMW’s flagship luxury SUV is sold between Rs 1.18 crore and Rs 1.78 crore (ex-showroom).

    Variants: The X7 is offered in two broad trims: DPE Signature and M Sport

    Seating Capacity: It’s a seven-seater luxury SUV.

    Engine and Transmission: BMW offers it in both petrol and diesel options: a 3-litre turbocharged diesel engine available in two states of tune: 265PS and 620Nm, and 400PS and 760Nm, and a 3-litre turbo-petrol unit making 340PS and 450Nm. All the power units are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels.

    Features: It gets BMW Live Cockpit Professional, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, adaptive air suspension on both axles, two 10.2-inch full HD screens in the second row, a 16-speaker Harman Kardon music system, a panoramic sunroof,

    Safety: Passenger safety is taken care of by six airbags, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) that includes Corner Braking Control (CBC), and a 360-degree camera system with semi-autonomous parking assist.

    Rivals: The BMW X7 goes up against the Mercedes-Benz GLS and Audi Q7.

    2022 BMW X7: The facelifted BMW X7 will be launched in India on December 10.
