New Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Launches Tomorrow- July 25
Mercedes-Benz India is all set to launch the E63 AMG in India tomorrow at the famous Buddh International Circuit (BIC), Noida. Last month the company had launched the all new Mercedes-Benz E-Class at Rs 41.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), now the AMG will join the line-up as top-of-the line variant. Since the vehicle will be brought as Completely Built Unit, so it will have a huge price tag with this.

Deriving its power from the 5.5-litre V8 engine, the E63 AMG is capable of producing the maximum power output of 550bhp and 700Nm of peak torque. While the earlier generation E63 AMG had naturally aspirated 6.2-litre engine, which was producing 30bhp lesser than the new one. The engine is mated to a 4matci setup that transmits power to all four-wheels. The transmission for the E63 AMG is a 7-speed speedshift automatic gearbox.
The new E63 AMG features a special AMG "A-wing", which makes the lower intakes and twin-blade grille positioned above it. Other features on offer are a black finished rear diffuser and an AMG exclusive dual exhaust setup at the rear. It gets some updates inside the cabin as well including AMG touches like silver seatbelts and Alcantara inserts to the Nappa leather steering wheel.
