Soon after receiving a order from the Maharashtra state government, the various taxi drivers have decided to stop the moving of Fiat Premier Padminis from the roads of the city. These group of cabbies have decided to replace the car with a new option that being the Mahindra Logan. Some of the interesting facts about the car are that it is spacious, even affordable by these people. Besides this many private taxi driver are already using this car as a AC taxi service for the local public. Everything seems cool and fine, the only problem arising is the manufacturer is refusing from making this car option as a black and white color variant taxi.
According to the secretary of the Mumbai Taxi Chalak Malak Sena, nearly 250 taximen are ready to buy the Mahindra logan. All that is needed to be decided is that they are ready to accept it as a black and white car option. The decision will be made under the Regional Transport Office of the area. The Regional Transport Office of the area was the first one to decide whether to make the car a cab for the city roads. They later also sended a request to the Mahindra and Mahindra for the car to be choosed for this reason.
Mahindra and Mahindra are more accurately decisive in making the car a better option for the cab services if choosed as a AC variant. For their simple Logan with-out AC they they can not make a black and yellow color option as it may decrease their retail market consideration. According to the general secratary of the Taxi union some of the options in this category were Maruti Omni, Maruti 800, Maruti WagonR, and the Hyundai Santro. But none fulfilled the demands of the company. Moreover it was none use looking at the cars which are out of the budget of the company.
