Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 launch imminent

Not a long wait from now, is what GM India says when asked about the launch of the new Chevrolet Tavera it unveiled at the 2012 Auto Expo. And we are right on our toes to relay this information at the earliest. Now that the Auto Expo fever has subsided to a certain extent we have decided to finally deliver the good news because we believe in exploding the news with a punch. This is how it goes… The new Chevrolet Tavera Neo 3 is expected to be launched in coming 4 to 8 weeks with much more controlled emissions to comply with the BS IV emission standards.

 

The SUV has always been powered by a 2.5 L diesel engine and so does it even now. But, what adds to it is the new 2.0 L CRDi engine which is a very picture to mellow with the latest emission norms.  Chevrolet Tavera has been a cup cake for many being especially with the budget price tag it carries of Rs 5,92,691 - Rs 7,56,907 (ex-showroom Delhi). While it used to fare up as a 50-50 lookswise before, there is a large improvement on those grounds. The Tavera Neo 3 SUV is simply a stunner now, with broader mesh type grille and the air ducts to match with it.

The auto major has generously added Chrome in ample proportions which is clearly evident from the luminous headlamps and edges along the grille. But, it is not just the grille to look wider than before, the Chevrolet trademark, the big golden bowtie now presides over the center of the grille to look unprecedentedly prominent.
