Kia Carens EV Car Latest Update

Latest Update: Kia has now confirmed the Carens EV for India which is expected to go on sale in 2025.

Price: The Kia Carens EV could be priced from Rs 20 lakh (ex-showroom).

Electric Motor, Battery Pack And Range: It's technical details haven't been revealed just yet. Having said that, we believe it will likely have a claimed range of around 400-500 km with a single motor setup. It will likely support DC fast charging and V2L (vehicle-to-load) functionality as well.

Features: The electric MPV is expected to come with the same dual digital displays (10.25-inch each for infotainment and instrumentation), wireless phone charging, ventilated front seats, and a sunroof from the standard Carens.

Safety: In terms of safety tech, expect it to get six airbags (as standard), electronic stability control (ESC), and front and rear parking sensors. The Carens EV might possibly even get a few advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features.

Rivals: It won’t have a direct rival at launch but it will serve as a more affordable option to the BYD E6.
