Chevrolet Cruze gets a makeover

General Motors India has given Chevrolet Cruze a facelift and is planning to launch the car by the end of 2011. The facelift model of Chevrolet Cruze will include an enhanced and superior engine as well. This new engine will be from General Motors’s Z-Series engines.

Apparently, the new Chevrolet Cruze will come powered with 2.0 litre of DOHC common rail diesel engine, which will keep the capacity of churning out 163 bhp of maximum power. As compared to the current model of Chevrolet Cruze, it produces only 150 bhp of power. This amplified power will also enhance the torque levels. The increased power will surely make new Chevrolet Cruze much quicker. Another highlighted feature of new Chevrolet Cruze includes enhanced interiors and stylish looks.

The current model of Chevrolet Cruze is all in all a superb car, but it however lacks behind in comfort and this part of the car has been improved during the makeover.
