Volkswagen Taigun 2021-2026 Maintenance Cost

Overall a really good SUV .. but its a 4 seater and not a 5 seater.. rear seat can become uncomfortable for 3 people. I have a manual Highline and its a driver?s delight to drive this SUV .. very smooth and feels very safe to drive . Got around 19 kmpl millage on highways. Issues: Tyre sensors issue , infotainment connectivity for Apple , AC not very powerful - takes time , service centre (thane) should have more people to handle customers

We bought Taigun from the first lot of delivery after the launch in 2021. We have been having continues AC gas leakage issues with the car from second year onwards. Car has been sent to Gurgoan service centre multiple times and they have opened the car to max to find the issue but every time it is sent back unresolved and we end up following the same process again. Each time of this check car gets retained for 5-6 days but yet VW not able to resolve and find the root cause of the issue. While the car is sturdy and comfortable but it has some manufacturing issues including frequency software not working or door lock concerns appearing as well at times. We have been using VW cars since the last 12 years and have never experienced anything of this nature prior.

It was a wonderful experience in buying Volkswagen Taigun. specially the high variant with manual transmission which will be the most value for money spent. This is the main reason for shifting to Volkswagen Taigun. Where the hospitality, service and ownership are mainly concentrated. it was worth for spending that difference amount for such a fantastic, good looking front grill and fog lamp housing.

I purchased the Volkswagen Taigun 1.0L 2024 model around four months ago, excited about its features and performance. However, my experience has been marred by recurring AC problems. Within just a month of ownership, I encountered an issue with the AC due to a gas leak, which led to discomfort during drives. I promptly visited the authorized service center to rectify the problem, and it took an extensive period of 7-8 days for the technicians to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, the relief was short-lived as after another month, the same AC issue resurfaced, causing significant inconvenience once again. The recurrence of the AC problem within such a short span is disheartening and raises concerns about the car's reliability and quality control. Despite the car's overall appeal and performance, this persistent issue significantly affects the overall satisfaction and peace of mind associated with the ownership experience. I hope Volkswagen takes notice of these recurring issues and implements lasting solutions to maintain the trust and satisfaction of its customers.

I've been using the Taigun for 1 year and 8 months, and my experience has not been satisfactory. The car produces a lot of noise, especially on the dashboard and from the suspension, making for an unpleasant ride. The brake sound is irritating, and the suspension quality is not up to the mark. The AC is not very effective, and the overall body quality reflects poor Indian manufacturing standards. The start-stop feature often doesn't work, and the city mileage is disappointing. Additionally, the service is expensive, and issues are not adequately addressed, requiring multiple visits for the same problem with skyrocketing bills. Apart from the engine power and seating comfort, nothing about the Taigun has impressed me. Choosing the Taigun has been a mistake.
