A car worth every penny you pay.

After going through a list of few top brands I tried out Toyota Etios Liva in Mumbai. buying experience was amazing as I was promptly welcomed and was given the maximum possible details and a long test run in the car where I fell in love with this hatchback and instantly booked the car along with a few upgrades like JBL speakers. Delivery was done a day before the showroom promised. Overall buying experience would be 5-star Positive points for the money you pay this vehicle has a decent amount of space and features that comes along that makes this car very reliable and fun to drive. Super cheap annual maintainance that comes along with Toyota reliability. Negative points are that it has super light doors which causes loud thud sound even when you shut them slowly. Tight clutch which gives you amazing left leg work out in city traffic. (wouldn't bother much as the car requires very less shifting if not in heavy traffic) The overall performance of the car is amazing considering the small 1400 cc engine can hit 165 kmph when the pedal is flat. the engine can give you 67.8 bhp and an amazing torque figure close to 180 nm at 1700rpm which gives an amazing pickup even in 2nd gear and average mileage of 20-23 kmpl. Comfort levels are amazing with amazing leg room on the back seat even with a tall guy like me driving and wide enough to seat 3 in utmost comfort with an almost flat floor. The boot space of 250 litres is good enough to push in 2 medium sized bags and one small. The car feels planted to the road even at high speeds and corners giving you a ton of confidence while driving. The suspensions are not very great for handling potholes but can give you a comfortable ride on flat surfaces filtering out small bumps on the road. The after sales services from Toyota is also the best in class as you can get the car serviced in 60 minutes with prior appointments at a very low cost. the average annual maintenance cost would be close to 8000 rs all inclusive as the pats are cheap but very reliable. Overall I rate this car 4.5 stars due to the 2 cons mentioned making this an amazing car to have and enjoy.
