I was looking for a car which can fit into my budget, which was between 1 lakh to 2.5 lakhs. A friend of mine suggested me Tata Nano LX. When I researched on the internet, I found that the car will fit into the budget. Tata Nano is the cheapest car in the world, which is also not bad in terms of performance. It has a top speed of 105kmph and it can accelerate from 0 to 100kmph in just 12.6 secs. The fuel used by the car is petrol and fuel tank can store up to 15 litres of petrol. The engine of the car is 0.6 litres 2 cylinder MPFI petrol that generates the power of 37.5bhp and maximum torque of 51Nm @ 4000 rpm. The mileage of the car is 22.2kmpl in city and 24.4 kmpl on highways, which makes it one of the most fuel efficient cars in the country. Four people can easily sit in the car and the boot space goes around 500 litre if the rear seat is folded. Since it is a cheap car so it lacks most of the safety and luxury features. But still it has power windows, low fuel warning light, air conditioner, fabric upholstery and many more basic features. The transmission type of the car is manual and has a 4-speed gear box. The car has drum brakes both at the front and rear. The shock absorbers of the car is gas filled and front and rear suspensions are also gas filled. Overall I will say that 2013 Tata Nano is a good option for the people with tight budget.
