When I told my friends that I am going to buy a nano, the next moment they say is a NO. when asked for a reason i get the following response1. engine has got a bad noise2. pick up is low.3. not a safer car.most of the people who pass these comments are the ones who have never owned or drove a Nano. though the noise is some thing which even i was not comfortable with (this issue seems to have been addressed in the latest version). the other 2 points are base less. being a mechanical engineer by virtue of my studies i have personally felt the pick up for this CC is really good and more over this is almost at par with maruti 800. coming to the safety standards, though TATAs say that they have all design patents as well as the car meets the safety standards, i dont know why people feel that the car is not safer. TATA's have not compromised on the quality of the sheet metal they used in making of the body. I have been driving my brother's Nano for the past 2 years and was amazed with the fuel economy and the comfort while driving. Look and Style I dont say that the Nano has got a stunning fabulous look but is decent and one can customise to a level he wants.The interiors are really fabulous and you dont feel that u r sitting in a conjusted vehicle. 4 people can sit inside with out any issues. Comfort The seating comfort is very good and people with knee pains can sit in with out any issue. not like the maruthi 8oo where in you will have to bend and get in. once you switch on the AC you will not find any major difference with any other car. unless you are very obesic you will not have any issues with the seating comfort. Mileage There is no other petrol car which can even come near Nano Best Features Efficient space management,fuel economy, Powerful AC, Easy handling, safety features
