A Premium SUV At An Attractive Cost

After having owned and driven Maruti Suzuki and Ford Sedans for over 20 years, I was looking to upgrade to an SUV. My requirement was a diesel automatic SUV with comfortable cabin space and boot space and preferably a panoramic sunroof. After "test-driving" equivalent cars I zeroed in on Tata XZA+ Dark Edition. I am really thrilled with the performance of the car. My family too loves the comfort of the cabin space and the car's smooth drive even over rough roads. The gear shifts are seamless. The different driving modes like City, Wet-road, Rough Road, and Sports Mode is a useful feature. The Sports mode exploits the real power of the engine with an exhilarating response. Frankly, I was very skeptical about buying a Tata vehicle after having a near-flawless experience with my earlier cars since 1999. Though I have not driven the Harrier much it has been a pleasant surprise so far. Plan to go on a long drive in the next few days. Will provide additional feedback after that. Overall my purchase experience was pleasant, the dealer brought the vehicle for a test drive twice and also showed me the actual edition that I wanted to buy before I decided. It's real value for money for an SUV that shares the Kryotec 2.0 L engine with other premium cars namely, Jeep Compass and MG Hector. In my view among these, the Harrier has the best road presence too.
