Lately, I was going through the 'Personalisation' section of the Kwid on Renault India's official website. And I was totally amused by the extent of customisation options it offers considering that it is just an entry-level model. It does remind you that the Kwid belongs from a country which has got the world's fashion capital, Paris! Besides from regular accessories it offers like every other car, the Kwid also comes with a bucket full of personalisation options, including body graphics such as the Rallycross, Fireblade, Legacy among others. Even the regular accessories I was talking about have tonnes and tonnes of options, which is not the case with its rivals and other cars. Further, the recently launched Kwid anniversary edition not only makes it stand out compared to the regular model, but also in front of its peers. In fact, visually alone, the rivals are no match for the Kwid with these flashy options to go for! The Kwid Climber is a different story altogether! Its sibling, the Datsun redi-GO is also following the same path with customised variants on offer such as the redi-GO Gold and Sport. Great going Renault! It seems like Maruti has learned a lesson or two from Renault as it now offers plenty of accessorising options with its new age cars such as the Dzire, Ignis and others.
